This is one of my favourite hotel key card.. seduction picture kan.. its a small boutique hotel kat Soi 15. Its also a sister hotel to Dream Hotel New York. The interior is a bit Starky kind of design, not my type, but still interesting. Bilik semua newly renovated. Restaurant and food = yerk!.. jangan makan kat sini other than breakfast, tak best langsung. Tak ingat dah berapa rate room dia, but not super expensive. Location is near Sukhumvit Road so its easier to go for shopping.

Yay! Received a package from Zurich today, it’s my new Krisflyer card from Singapore Airlines . I’m on PPS club for the 2nd year already. In the same package, they give me SGD 250 free voucher. Double yay!.
According to SIA, to get PPS you need to have travel purchase value of minimum SGD 25,000 ( approximately RM 60K ). Hopefully next year they did not downgrade me, since I don’t think I would have long distance travel this year. Most of Middle East trips lately is on Etihad, which have their own frequent flyer card.
It is important to have this card, otherwise your travelling miles will just wasted away. However, you need to keep flying, if not the miles point will just expire. Krisflyer points expire on monthly basis after 3 years I think (not very sure on this), so now I need to plan for a trip before I loss them all. I have enough point to redem 2 return ticket to Europe.

I set my foot for the first time in Paris on 3th June 2006. I was working for a new hotel in Phuket, and the interior designer is Philippe Starck. To get the design started, we need to brief Starck on the architectural concept of the building so he could start with his ID concept.
Starck have a very modest office on the second floor of a 6 storey office building. To my surprise, despite his fame, he only have around 20+ designer in his Paris office. He is very humble, friendly and funny. I love working with him.
The meeting finished around 5pm, soI went to check the Eiffel Tower. Since I’m not sure how much free time I have on this trip, I tried to make used every opportunity I had to see as much of Paris as posibble.
.. to be continue..

Huh! Can you? I’m going to share you one little secret here that you will never find anywhere else.
I’m here again in Maldives, been in and out from Male so many times this year. There is only 2 easy way to get there from KL, direct flight from KLIA via Malaysian Airlines or thru Singapore via Singapore Airlines. Now forget Malaysian Airline, that’s not where the money is. To get your money, you must fly via SIA.
Preparation: You must have extra luggage. One with real stuff that you need for your Maldives holiday, and one with useless stuff, that you can afford to delay and would not screw up your fine day on the beach looking at Indian Ocean.
What to do: Check-in your less important luggage. The other luggage you need carry into the plane with you.
Book your flight KL-Sing via SIA (must be SIA, don’t take MAS), you must take 6.30pm flight. KL-Sing only takes 45min, so you should be there around 7.15pm. Normally shuttle flight KL-Sing will always be delayed a bit, SIA is not so bad but MAS is worse. A bit of delay its OK, you still can catch your connecting flight to Male, Maldives.
Now, there is only one flight per day from Sing-Male, at 8pm. Here is the trick; you have 15 minutes to get out from your KL-Sing plane and race to the other sides of terminal. If you are in Business Class, then they will wait for you at the aerobridge exit with golf cart buggy, lucky you. If you are on Economy Class, depending on your luck, sometime you get the buggy, the other time you’re on your own 2 feet. Then run as fast as you can to the other gate.
This is the scenario. 15 minutes would not give enough time for the ground crew to remove your check-in luggage and transfer to your connecting flight to Male. Your luggage WILL miss the flight. This is where the money comes. Upon arrival in Male, after come out from the custom area, turn to your left and walk to the end of the arrival area. There is where SIA office located. Claim that your luggage is missing, fill-up some paper. As a compensation, you will be paid US75 per luggage. Horey!, mission accomplished. If you have 2 missing luggage, which what I usually do, then your are US150 richer ( RM450 ).
After receiving your money (they pay cash on the spot), simply head to your hotel. Your missing luggage will be delivered next day.
Now, don’t do this on your other trips. This only works in Male airport, no others.
Enjoy your trips.

Next time you are in InterContinental Hotel, Abu Dhabi, you must dine at the Chamas Brazilian Churrascaria Restaurant & Bar. They offer endless skewers of freshly barbecued meat and chicken served by knowledgeable Passador (waiters). Served in true Churrascaria style, the skewers keep coming until you tell them to stop. Just jerit ‘ aku dah kenyang la’ then they would leave you alone
An authentic Latin band adds a touch of Carnaval to complete the experience. Located on the ground floor, the entrance is next to the coffee house.
The interior is quite interesting, dark color, there is an interesting drama when you enter, except for their funny waiting lounge corner on the right. Lighting concept = ugly. Entah siapa la lighting designer dia.. in the middle of the restaurant is a double volume space with an interesting chandelier, and bar on the top floor. Here you will see Emirates with their full robe attire sipping nice cool mojito. huh!

Food is good. Price is not soo bad. The band is lively, they are on the top floor, facing the double volume space and the bar.

I was in Abu Dhabi last week for 5 long days. There is a lot of thing happened this time..
First, Abu Dhabi have brand new airport, and to enjoy it the most, you must fly in and out with Etihad Business or First Class. Now, before you do anything, as soon as you enter the business class lounge, on your left, there is Six Senses SPA. FREE!! again.. FREE SPA!! where else can you get that.. just register you name there, and you have up to 8 type of free service, range from foot massage, facial, back massage and few others. Must try!
On the way back to the airport, I saw this building on the left sides of the road. Its the new Hyatt Hotel… looks trendy.. the hotel would be open next year…

Quote from other web;
Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company has confirmed that the exclusive new 200 room, 5 star hotel in Abu Dhabi’s absolutely stunning Capital Gate building, adjacent to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, will be operated by Hyatt International.
The hotel will open in 2009 and will be the first Hyatt operated facility in the UAE capital city. In recognition of its significance and its stature, Hyatt International has named the hotel ‘Hyatt at Capital Centre’. It is expected to be one of the most exclusive hotels in the world.
His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nayhan, Chairman of Capital Centre and ADNEC said, “Capital Gate is a unique building which will become famous around the world and as such it was essential that the hotel was operated by an organisation which matched its status, I’m delighted that this operator is Hyatt International. The fact that “Hyatt at Capital Centre”, has been developed specifically for this project indicates an understanding by all involved that this is not an average hotel, in an average building in an average city – this is something unique and very special, which will exceed expectations. It will delight those that visit it and will amaze those who view it from afar. We look forward with anticipation watching this magnificent creation rise from the ground”
Gebhard Rainer, Managing Director, Hyatt International (Europe, Africa & Middle East) LLC added, “Hyatt International is under a major expansion strategy in the Middle East. We have been monitoring the incredible developments taking place in Abu Dhabi for some time and, for us, Capital Gate is the right building in the right location at the right time. Capital Centre is one of the Middle East’s most significant developments and I am delighted that Hyatt at Capital Centre is able to play its part in driving this unique project forward.”
Preparatory construction has already begun on Capital Gate. When complete, Capital Gate will be 160 meters and 35 stories tall and, in addition Hyatt at Capital Centre, will provide some of the most exclusive office space in the UAE capital city.
Capital Gate forms a major part of the Capital Centre development, the AED8 billion business and residential micro city being constructed around the newly opened Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest airport in the world. I was in London several times in 2008, this pictures of Terminal 3 was taken with my ugly HTC Touch Flo. Quality gambar hancus!
Anyway, if you flying out to KL via Singapore or Bangkok, you must check in at Terminal 3. Singapore Airline check-in counter just next to the main staircase leading up to upper floor, the departure floor. Enter thru the main door, you will see other airline counter in right front of you. Look for a small atrium with staircase in the middle, SIA counter is on the right sides of the staircase.
